I question your AFC acceptance of this article. The references look overwhelmingly non-WP:IS. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:39, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

I think you failed to notice the 2 SCMP sources. First, they are absolutely not affiliated with the subject. Secondly, SCMP is a reputable publisher. Thirdly, source 12 looks ok too. Did you mean that there are a lot of non-RS in the article or are you questioning its notability? Is it needed to clean up the sources? Thanks!Timothytyy (talk) 12:45, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I'm questioning notability; without notability, the draft should not be accepted. The first SCMP ref is an interview, which by definition is not WP:IS. The second one is a passing mention of a quote, so also not IS and not SIGCOV. Neither can be used to establish notability. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:53, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Is there something wrong with source 9? It seems to have enough coverage. Timothytyy (talk) 13:06, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Another interview? #9 and #22 are the same ref, and listed in the interviews section. - UtherSRG (talk) 13:14, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Please inspect the source. I think it counts as IS. Timothytyy (talk) 13:25, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Is it an interview? My "free reads" are used up. - UtherSRG (talk) 13:28, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
I don't think so. Also the title of the section is "Interviews and articles". But I agree that most sources are just non-IS. Will be more careful in reviewing next time!
P.S. The subject seems notable, I'll add some sources later. Timothytyy (talk) 13:33, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

I need your support

Hi, Timothytyy article:Jishnu Raghavan was tagged for Speedy deletion so please help me to rectify that. So only I had created with Page:Jishnu (Malayalam actor) but why do you again moved to page:Jishnu Raghavan I think that's why the another user tagged for G5. So please help me. This article should not get deleted🙏 Jeevan shree (talk) 05:45, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

I helped you decline G5, but I cannot help you if you are really a sock. Timothytyy (talk) 06:42, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
No, I'm not a sock Jeevan shree (talk) 06:47, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
Then I suggest you defend yourself with proofs at the sockpuppet investigation, because you already look suspicious to other editors, and someone already reported you. Good luck. Timothytyy (talk) 06:49, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted

Hi Timothytyy. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group. Please check back at the permissions page in case your user right is time-limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page or ask via the NPP Discord. In addition, please remember:

  • Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
  • You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
  • If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
  • Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page, including checking for copyright violations using Earwig's copyright violation detector, checking for duplicate articles, and evaluating sources (both in the article, and if needed, via a Google search) for compliance with the general notability guideline.
  • Please review some of our flowcharts (1, 2) to help ensure you don't forget any steps.
  • Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies. signed, Rosguill talk 00:57, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Same player on fr.wikipedia...

Hi, I saw your comment on Akilimali Ndag talk page. I would like to inform you this person has the same practices today on fr.wikipedia.org and are temporary blocked on FR:WP by an admin (Unjustified deletion of sourced passages). Have a good day.

Unptitpeudtout (talk) 12:03, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for informing, do you have any suggestions on how to deal with his disruption? Thanks! Timothytyy (talk) 13:28, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but I don't really have any suggestions... On FR:WP the user immediately joined in a war of editing and deleting sourced passages (pro-Chinese POV-Pushing), without using the articles' discussion pages. In this context, I think it's difficult to find an alternative to temporary blocking. Unptitpeudtout (talk) 13:53, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

Merry Christmas!
